More recognitions continued to pour in for Megaworld Corporation as the company took home a total of 11 prestigious recognitions from the recently concluded 57th Anvil Awards spearheaded by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).
Topping this commendable list was the Gold Anvil for Safer and Happier Outdoors at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls under the Public Relations Tool (Multimedia / Digital Tool – Microsite) category.
Meanwhile, the company also took home Silver Anvils for various initiatives championed during the pandemic. These include two Silvers each for “The Visionary, The Philanthropist” (Exhibit and Special Event and Publication categories) and “Mega Summer Ventures Version 2.0” (PR Programs on a Sustained Basis and Digital PR Program); and “Connect2Connect – Nurturing Megaworld scholars through Digital Transformation in the New Normal” (Digital PR Program – Education / Literacy).
Also taking home a Silver Anvil each were “If There’s a Wheel, There’s a Way (PR Program Directed at Specific Stakeholders); “Christmas is Always a Good Time” (PR Tool – Multimedia/Digital Tool); “Now is a Good Time Webinar Series” (PR Tool – Multimedia/Digital Tool); McKinley Hill Float-in Cinema (PR Tool – Exhibit and Special Event); and Greenhouse at Village Square Alabang (PR Tool – Exhibit and Special Event).
Dubbed as the “Oscars” of the Philippine Public Relations industry, the Anvil Awards is an annual competition that honors exceptional PR programs and tools implemented in the previous year. Winners were announced and honored by the PRSP during the virtual Anvil Gabi ng Parangal. This year’s Anvil Awards received more than 500 entries from various companies and organizations, including government agencies. Of this total count number, less than a hundred successfully notched recognitions, either gold or silver metals.
